Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of Loop (the "Service"), provided by GrindWorks Digital ("we", "our", "us"). By installing or using Loop, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to install third-party apps in your Intercom workspace to use Loop. By installing, you represent that you have authority to bind your organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Loop is an Intercom Canvas Kit app that displays Featurebase changelog and roadmap data inside the Intercom Messenger. The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.
3. Account and configuration
To use Loop, you must install it via the Intercom App Store, provide a valid Featurebase API key, and maintain accurate configuration. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and will notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service to abuse Featurebase's API in violation of their terms or rate limits
- Resell or rebrand the Service without our written consent
5. Fees
Loop is currently provided free of charge during the early-access period. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with at least 30 days' notice. Workspaces that join during early access will continue to receive their current feature set at no charge.
6. Intellectual property
Loop, including all software, designs, logos, and content, is owned by GrindWorks Digital and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Loop in accordance with these Terms.
You retain all rights to your data, including your Featurebase content and Intercom workspace information. You grant us a limited license to use that data solely to provide the Service.
7. Third-party services
Loop integrates with Intercom and Featurebase. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.
If Featurebase or Intercom changes their APIs or terms in a way that breaks Loop, we will make reasonable efforts to restore functionality, but cannot guarantee continued operation.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL GRINDWORKS DIGITAL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Termination
You may stop using Loop at any time by uninstalling it from your Intercom workspace. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material violations of these Terms with reasonable notice where possible.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately and we will delete your data per our Privacy Policy retention schedule.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email to the installing admin or a banner in the Configure screen, with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Missouri, USA, except for claims that may be brought in small-claims court.
